Provide for means make money for and team up with means works with. 3. In The Walking Dead does Rick Grimes lead the people who are zombies? No, he leads the people who are not zombies. 4. what do we know about the two men in The Big Bang Theory? The are not very good at being with people and don't know much about real life. 5. In Arrow why does the missing billionaire Oliver Queen return? He wants to improve the city by fighting crime. 6. How I Met Your Mother mentions how many people? It talks about five people. 7. Which year did Dexter begin and what's the programme about? It's about a police man who is also a serial killer who kills criminals. 8. Is American History X about one character? No, it's about different characters in different places. 9. How long is each episode in The Vampire Diaries and what's it's rating out of ten points? It's 43 minutes long and it scored 8.2 out of 10. 10. What do the characters in Supernatural do? They hunt evil monsters and demons the same as their fathers did. |
D. For your writing task, write three synopses like the ones at IMDB but for your favourite TV series.
Make it simple but very clear so the reader can easily understand what the programme is about. Remember to include the year it began, your rating 1-10, how long each episode is and the names of some of the stars from the show. Notice how the synopses are mostly written in present simple. You should do the same! |
